No experience necessary, $5 per run, just show up!

Dogs' sense of smell is 100,000 times more acute than humans!  No wonder dogs are used to find lost people & animals, drugs, avalanche & disaster victims, and even to detect cancer or oncoming seizures.  Tracking is a sport that demonstrates dogs' natural ability to recognize and follow a scent.  For many people, the greatest pleasure of tracking training are the hours spent outside, interacting with their dog.  It can be very peaceful; like a hike with a purpose!

"Proofing & Polishing" to get ready for competition takes time, repetition & experience for both hound & handler!  We lay out a competition level course, you just relax & have fun training at your pace or level.

Run Thrus offered approximately every 6 weeks.  

LITTER TEMPERAMENT TESTING:

For breeders trying to ensure good matches between their whelps & new forever homes, as well as assessing pups for their performance capabilities.

Developed by Guide Dogs for the Blind, Inc. over 60 years ago, this is the gold standard to gently assess each 7-8 week old pup as an individual, apart from it's dam or littermates.

All of our own litters have had this assessment.  Despite spending 8+ hours per day with our litters, we've still had some surprises revealed through Temperament Testing that made us make different placement decisions.
